windows 8.1 installato su un Asus N53 (originariamente con Win7).

Lentezza nell'aprire le pagine e disconnessioni, sia a 2,4 che a 5 ghz. Con l'ultimo driver non ufficiale è molto più stabile.

E' collegato con un Netgear R7500.

Il driver Realtek installato tramite il programma di utilità, abilita in automatico (se è installato manualmente non viene abilitata) la possibilità di Windows di usare la scheda adattatore senza fili come punto di accesso installando fra le periferiche l'adattatore WiFi virtuale del sistema operativo. Buon anno a tutti e scusate il ritardo con il quale rispondo, ma l'occasione di rifare la prova è arrivata con un format del pc.
Al primo tentativo ho rifatto lo stesso errore di due mesi fa, cioè ho installato i due driver in sequenza e, con il più recente, continuavo ad avere gli stessi problemi. Invece eliminando il driver vecchio prima e poi installando il nuovo dopo i problemi sono spariti. Adesso lo testo qualche giorno e poi riferirò.

edit: dopo alcune prove segnalo che continuo ad avere alcuni problemi con l'ultima release edimax, il più fastidioso è il blu screen con reboot del pc. A questo si aggiunge che non riesco a connettere il pc a 2,4 GHz al Netgear R7500 (chipset Qualcomm-Atheros), mentre con l'Asus rt-ac87u (broadcomm) non ci sono problemi.

ho la C1, ho visto i drivers universali Realteck proverò con quelli... consigli x l'installazione? Io la chiavetta non l'ho ancora tolta dalla scatola... grazie.

In realtà la scheda verrà riconosciuta con il suo marchio e modello. Dlink fa semplicemente un adattamento di questo driver per i suoi pacchetti driver.
A seconda del sistema operativo se sei connesso a internet il pc dovrebbe cercare e installare automaticamente i driver adatti al dispositivo su internet a meno che tale ricerca non sia stata disattivata nelle opzioni del pannello di controllo.
Poi se l'installer esegue tutto correttamente bene, altrimenti da Gestione hardware si seleziona la periferica sconosciuta e si procede manualmente alla selezione del driver per il proprio sistema che a quel punto verrà installato correttamente.
Da Windows 7 in avanti le utility proprietarie di gestione della scheda non servono più a nulla.
